Strands Game
Strands is a new puzzle game. Rules of the game: In the word grid you need to find 8 words related to the same topic. You can find words by connecting letters horizontally, vertically, diagonally, and also from right to left. Each game has 1 spangram. The spangram describes the puzzle’s theme and touches two opposite sides of the board. Can you find all 8 words?
How to play the Strands game?

Start of the game
Open the Strands game to see a 6x8 grid filled with letters. Your goal is to find words that share a common theme, as well as a special word, a spangram, that embodies the theme and must touch two opposite sides of the board.

Find the words
You can form words by connecting letters vertically, horizontally or diagonally. Feel free to change direction mid-word. Remember, each letter on the board is part of a word, and no letter is used more than once for the same word.

Complete the Puzzle
Completing the Puzzle Keep finding all the words. Incorrect guesses are not penalized, but instead contribute to clues. The puzzle is solved if all 8 thematic words (including 1 spangram) are found correctly. Unlike a traditional word search, the challenge here is to find words related to a topic.
What is Strands Game?
Strands is a new game developed by the New York Times that changes the standard word search concept. Each puzzle has a theme with themed words that must be found to solve the puzzle. However, you can search for off-topic words to get hints that will help you find words on the topic.
Gameplay
Strands is a word search style game where each problem has a specific theme. Letters can be used in any orientation, but they cannot be reused or crossed out, and thematic words will be marked in blue. One word, Spangram, will describe the theme of the puzzle, it should touch both sides of the board and will appear in yellow. Once you find all the words, each letter will appear in the letter grid once. If you get stuck, look up any words not related to the 4 letter topic (or longer), and for every three words from them you will receive a hint revealing one of the words from today's topic.
